Driving Home for Christmas

It’s been a great year here at Auto Medics and as you head off to visit friends and family at this festive time, especially if you’re about to embark on a long journey, be sure to make these simple vehicle checks:

• All your lights are working
• You have a full tank of fuel
• Your windscreen wipers are working and washer bottle filled
• Tyre pressures and tread depth (min. 1.6mm)
• Your brakes are working
• Oil, anti-freeze and water levels
• An emergency kit including your phone, any required medication, a torch, shovel, food and water, warm clothes and towels and blankets

Remember if you’re visiting family or friends to check in and let them know your expected time of arrival so they know you’re safe and when the festivities can begin.
